We have a new position to fill; are you going to be the latest new addition to our awesome team?
You became a vet because you love animals, right? And you want variety, challenges, discretion, flexibility and responsibility, yes? Well, imagine being able to work-up cases and treat your patients the way they deserve …as an Associate Veterinarian in one of the most amazing lifestyle locations on the planet! …
Amazing? Think surfing beaches, cafes, live entertainment, vineyards! You can choose to live in town or on a rural property of your choosing. Where prices are affordable, the people are friendly, and it’s idyllically safe for bringing up a family. We’re talking Grafton, Northern New South Wales of course.
If you are a city slicker then you really should stop reading now – unless you are looking for a change in pace. If you like the idea of hardly any traffic jams lots of space and astonishingly affordable house prices you definitely DO want to keep on reading.
First let us talk about our expectations for your work/life balance.
Here in Grafton we have one of the state’s best kept secrets; The Mighty Clarence River.
Enthusiasts in the know drive huge distances to come to the Clarence for water skiing and wakeboarding (and will often enjoy having the whole river to themselves).
… prefer calmer activities? The river is also a great place for fishing, kayaking and swimming.
Did I mention the surfing? Angourie is one of Australia’s most famous point breaks and is within an easy half hour’s drive from here. There are also World Heritage National Parks on our doorstep.
Now do not worry that you will be missing out on the culture side of things being away from the big city,
Grafton has theatres, a newly refurbished multi screen cinema, art exhibitions, gallery, coffee shops first class restaurants and some good old country pubs. We also have a great selection of high street shops and a brand new shopping complex.
What is also really important (and often overlooked) is the first class selection of dynamic public and private schools. This truly is a wonderful town in which to raise a family. (It is why we moved here from Perth, WA six years ago).
Enough about your time off, your relaxation and your work/life balance.
Now let’s talk about where you will be practicing your small animal medicine and surgery – at Riverbank Animal Hospital in South Grafton, Northern New South Wales.
