Sharon is Your Customer Experience Manager. It is her responsibility to ensure that from your very first point of contact right through to the final interaction that you receive a VIP experience every step of the way.

Kate has an absolute wealth of knowledge on all things canine! Vet Nurse, Behaviourist, Dog Trainer! Kate always has a smile and will make you feel very welcome. As a qualified behaviourist Kate is also ready to help with any behavioural issue you may be facing with your pet. Behaviour consults can be arranged with Kate on Monday's or Friday's.
 
Practice Manager
Amanda Gough, Practice manager:

Amanda’s background is in vet nursing. She qualified in 1997 and quickly became head nurse of a large practice in Barnstable, North Devon UK.

Since then she has worked as a surgical nurse at a specialist practice in Adelaide and then moved into practice management in 2001.

Amanda and Chris moved to Grafton in 2005 and opened the doors at Riverbank Animal Hospital together in 2010.

Amanda’s primary role at Riverbank Animal Hospital is running the business side of things but she is always keen to lend a hand by putting her vet nursing skills to good use when called upon by the team.

"I am passionate about providing the best possible outcomes for the beautiful patients entrusted in our care and ensuring our clients have an amazing customer experience."


 
The Veterinarian Team
Dr Chris Gough (Clinical Director):
Chris is the Riverbank Animal Hospital founder and Practice Principal.

Chris is passionate about all aspects of small animal medicine and surgery. His special areas of clinical interest include Orthopaedic and Soft Tissue Surgery and canine reproduction and breeding.

Chris graduated from Bristol University, UK in 1996 and has practiced in Australia since the year 2000 previously in Adelaide, SA and in The Southern Suberbs of Perth WA.

"My vision for Riverbank Animal Hospital is for us to be a centre of excellence offering world's best standards in veterinary care. I am honoured to have an amazing team of dedicated animal health care professionals who are committed to delivering outstanding service to our patients and clients."
 
The Veterinarian Team
Dr Lucy Bond, Veterinarian:
Lucy qualified as a vet from The University of Liverpool in England in 2009 and has been practicing in Australia since 2010.

She grew up in England but came to Australia with her husband for the amazing lifestyle and climate amongst many other things! She originally lived in Adelaide but moved to Grafton 2012 for a tree change!

She has many interests including cycling, travelling, music and generally spending lots of time outdoors. She has a cat (Miss B) and 2 dogs (Scrumpy and Guinness) who she does agility and tracking with at the local dog club.

Dr Lucy loves working with dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and generally all things furry! Her special clinical interests include cardiology (heart medicine), neurology (nervous system) and soft tissue surgery.

Dr James Moody, Veterinarian:

Dr. James is from California but is happy to have settled in Ulmarra. He enjoys the quiet river after living in some of the world’s biggest cities. James has a degree in Marine Biology (Honors) from University of California Los Angeles. He went on to study Veterinary Science  at the  University of Sydney and graduated in 2013. He joined the Riverbank Team in 2014

His interests as a veterinarian include cutting edge treatments, anaesthesia, hospitalized patient support, internal medicine, and geriatric life care.
In his down time James enjoys lifting weights, kayaking, and spoiling his cat Etienne rotten.

Dr Caitlin Murray, Veterinarian:

Caitlin is excited to join the Riverbank veterinary team as its newest addition. Originally from Sydney, Caitlin has bachelor degrees in Science (Anatomy and Physiology) from the University of New South Wales (2007) and Veterinary Science from the University of Sydney (2013). Growing up surrounded by many furry and feathered friends and with Taronga Zoo on her doorstep, Caitlin developed a love of animals from an early age.
 
Since graduation, Caitlin has gained experience in small animal shelter practice in Sydney. She has a passion for small animal medicine and especially enjoys endocrinology, preventative medicine and wildlife.
 
Caitlin loves to explore the outdoors, whether it be by bike, foot, surfboard or with a scuba-tank strapped to her back. She also enjoys travelling the world marvelling at nature's spectacular wildlife with highlights including swimming with humpback whales in Tonga, rearing lion cubs in South Africa, and rehabilitating toucans and spider monkeys in Guatemala. A self-confessed sports-nut, Caitlin enjoys playing AFL, cricket, and netball.

Katrina Gilham, Senior Nurse:

Katrina has been a vet nurse since 2004 and has a strong interest in animal reproduction, nutrition, natural treatments, canine training & behaviour.

Since moving to Grafton from Sydney in 2011 she has also become Riverbank's resident Puppy Pre-school Instructor.

At home Katrina has two Bull Terriers, Ruby and Pheonix, a cat called Harley & two Guinea Pigs (that were suppose to be her daughters) called Darwin and Blaster.
